I believed the weather forecast and figured I’d wake up to snow, but I woke up to sunshine. 🙂

The weather guys could’ve gotten their timing wrong. In the short period of time since I got up, let the dogs out, fed them, made coffee etc. it’s clouded over. Silvery clouds are making their way across Monte Vista.
It’s not unusual for this to happen in fall. Winter likes to send it’s emissaries to remind the still green leaves and the flowers that insist on blooming that their days are numbered. “Dude,” it says, “your days are numbered.”
As you see, those are winter’s exact words.
Whoops! Here comes the sun. Do-nh-doo-doo.
I don’t know what to believe anymore. I think I’ll go with a moment-by-moment evidence based prediction looking out my window…

Weather Forecasts are only there to confuse us. Mr. Swiss is the weather expert. I was always sure that he missed his real call for a job. He should have studied meteorology as he always knows better that the TV guys. I just take photos of the clouds and eventually I will be able to predict. In the meanwhile I wanted to listen to George Harrison, but your video told me I have to go to YouTube beause reproduction on other web sites is not allowed. They are everywhere, undermining our beliefs.

PS I think people who pay attention to the sky and get to know the clouds and wind do a good job predicting the weather.
I am not really a weather specialist, I take it how it comes, but since I have started to take more photos of clouds, I observe them more. I think I am getting into it somehow.
Still raining here, but not heavily. And it’s still ridiculously WARM.
Yeah — we had two flakes. They were nice. Bear got her hopes up, but now they’re dashed and she’s curled up in her chair. I’m painting rocks wishing I felt like writing a novel, but that’s a perilous path… 😀
This is our first really cool day, it’s 41 F which is 5 C so it’s cool! Might have to start a fire soon, I’m feeling a bit chilly. It’s been a beautiful fall. Bright blue skies, a skiff of rain occasionally, but lovely for all that. Today really is the coolest day we’ve had this fall so far. Really enjoying this as a year ago, before moving here, we’de have been enveloped in a downpour of scary movie equivalent lol.
It snowed briefly while the sun shone. Beautiful. 🙂 ❤
We will get snow, but hopefully not for two months yet! lol
