I had to go to the store and on the way I decided to go see the river at the place where I often walk with my dogs. The featured photo is the parking lot. I think the water crested yesterday or the day before because it was streaming back toward the river from the parking lot this morning.

Interesting. I’m doing an overnight and hot sulfur Springs my second outing in the van. I’m right on the banks of the Colorado and it’s starting to rise but I think it’s nowhere near its peak. There was still a fair amount of snow at higher elevations (above 10,000 feet or so). A hearty soul could ski on Berthoud pass.
❤ Enjoy your outing! I hope the river stays where it's supposed to.
We shall see. I’m hanging out at the Hot Springs across the street for Internet access. I have the river on one side of my campsite, the railroad on the other and US 40 on the other side of the river. It could be great for sleep or disruptive
