This is nice! I’m glad to know you’ll be blogging despite the new block editor. Wait – does going premium allow you to avoid the new block editor???
I’ve been using blocks since it started. I didn’t find it any big deal. 🙂
I upgraded because I’ve used up all the memory that comes with the personal plan. I’m not happy about it, but starting a new personal blog would cost the same as the upgrade.
Does that mean you paid ahead for 7 years? Now that’s optimism.
I didn’t pay ahead for 7 years. But it took me almost a decade to use up all the memory in the personal plan, even deleting posts and photos. I’m not happy about paying $100/year and I might not continue that, but for now, I’m still here. Time will tell.
I hope so
❤
Congratulations!
Yay!

I upgraded a couple years ago when they were offering Premium at a good discount. Like you, I needed more memory. The following year the ‘regular’ bill came….. Welcome to Premium. 😀
We’ll see what happens next year when the bill comes…
I did the same because I knew I’d need more space for photos. I would prefer to pay it monthly than a big slug once a year but they don’t seem to offer that as an option.
I’d rather pay monthly, too. 😦
Yay! As they say, you can’t take it with you 🙂
I don’t really have any to take with me if I could! 😀
There you go! So it’s all good 🙂
I’m waiting until I’m nearly out of storage before upgrading, but I know eventually I’ll be following in your footsteps.
I was at 5.9 of my 6 😦 I was able to delete a lot last year, but this year not really.
Hooray! And you’re not even a big photo poster. Martha-Ann, you have so much to say. 🙂
It’s a decade of posts, I guess. Maybe it’s Lamont and Dude’s fault.
